The Pacific Beach Friends of the Library purchases copies of the latest bestsellers for exclusive use by Pacific Beach library patrons. The Rental Collection allows readers to take home the hottest books right away for a small fee, instead of waiting for a free copy from the Library's general collection. Readers can purchase a Rental Card for $5.00 at the Circulation Desk, then $.25 is deducted for each night that a Rental Book is checked out.

While Rental Books may be checked out using the library's Express Check terminals, we request that Rental Books be returned to a clerk at the Circulation Desk so that the fee may be immediately deducted from the borrower's Rental Card.
